Let only give people a right to see a doctor. People which wish to work have been losing their jobs as well as their insurance. It could even occur to we Republicans. Even after we have retired. One day we have it a subsequent day we don’t. So discuss it them to get off a boundary as well as opinion for a open option.

  1. Arkie Traveler says:

I don’t love them, but see their point in some ways. Thanks for stereotyping. I am sure you have a ton of fun doing it to minorities and others also..

  2. sonic death monkey says:

Because the insurance companies give them lots of money.

  3. 2BFree says:

Stop with that silliness. We don’t love insurance companies.
But, I don’t want the government getting into the business of healthcare.
Mayo clinics have announced that they will no longer accept Medicare. Many physicians do not accept Medicare. And it wasn’t all that long ago that people were complaining about VA hospitals. Why would anyone want the government to run our healthcare?
And, I don’t want the USA to be like Canada with 50% taxes.

  4. Tired Trucker says:

I can’t eat without the money that’s in YOUR wallet, You have it, I need it, so cough it up.

  5. Phil says:

ooh, good one. because your a dick

  6. snappy answers guy says:

    campaign contributions
    kickbacks from lobbyists

  7. Arnold Slick from Turtle Crick says:

It’s not a matter of loving anyone, it’s a matter of you (all libs) blowing this way out of proportion. Govt insurance is not the way to go, it’s simple like every other industry in America, make them compete with each other, it drives prices down. Thank you for stereotyping and PROVING that libs are much worse than republicans at doing so.

  8. El Tecolote says:

Private industry is private industry. The government has no place in it.

Myth #1: health insurance will be cheap or free.

Let’s bust that one. The poor will now be FORCED to pay a bill they did not have before, and it will not be cheap. The middle class will see a tax increase so that now they have to pay for their own health insurance along with that of the poor.

Myth #2: People have a “right” to see the doctor. For one thing, that’s not a “right,” and for another thing, this plan is going to put so many doctors out of the medical business that there will be fewer doctors for people to have the “right” to see.

You’re talking about job loss. How many people are going to lose their jobs when the government forces private insurance companies out of business?

  9. Proud Texan says:

They have been brainwashed by Fox non-News and Rush Limbaugh to follow orders without question.

  10. YA! the anti-conservative site says:

We only love them more than government.

  11. William says:

Money, sonny. The insurance industry gives Repugs beaucoup bucks for their re-election campaigns and all that goes with ‘em. Heh – and I bet you thought prostitution was illegal!

  12. Bill G IV says:

I don’t love them. They are a necessary evil.

This is why I set up a health savings account with a high deductible catastrophic policy 8 years ago. I suggest you do the same rather than rely on Obama’s Peasant Care.

  13. Em says:

Support for insurance companies pays handsomely.

  14. Uncle Joe Stalin says:

why do libbies love the government so much

  15. kathleen O says:

Rates are going up again making it almost impossible for small business owners to continue to provide their employees with health insurance. Deductibles are getting higher, prescription co-pays are being increased, and yet, the Republicans continue to be the party of ‘no’. The GOP continues to cite studies by the Lewin Group whose parent company is National Health Care, the company that settled out of court on several fraud cases. I think all congress should be required to wear NASCAR fire suits with the patches of their sponsors prominently displayed.

  16. how_would_I_know says:

Yes, let’s do what you want. Let’s increase taxes by another 15% to pay for it and drive millions more American jobs out of the country.

What do you care how many American suffer? All you want is your government handout right? Screw everybody else!

  17. Head Acorn says:

It’s always a love hate relationship with any insurance company. You hate them till you need them. Kinda like lawyers, their easy to vilify until the day comes when you need one. If I don’t like my insurance plan I am free to choose another but with a government plan, I would be stuck with the same crappy plan everyone else has.

  18. cookiemonster says:

Its not about loving insurance companies, its about hating government control and takeover

  19. Big Jon says:

All people ALREADY have the right to see a doctor. If they haven’t got insurance, they just have to pay for it out of their own pocket. Nobody in this country is refused health-care. That’s the law. Look at all the illegals who abuse the emergency rooms of hospitals for minor ailments. There are also free clinics provided by each states’ social services programs.

If you think a government-run “public option” is such a good idea, I would advise you to look at how well the government has done with Social Security, the VA administration’s hospitals, the U.S. Post Office, Medicare and any other program you might want to examine. And just what do all these programs have in common? They are billions upon billions of dollars in the red because of government incompetency as well as fraud, waste, and abuse.

Letting the government control up to 1/6th of the country’s economy through health-care is just plain idiotic! The government’s track record speaks for itself. Politicians and bureaucrats don’t care about you! They just care about the power that such an act would give them.

The health care system DOES need reform, but before we let the government control it, how about we try the following:

    1. Remove GOVERMENT restrictions on health insurance companies selling policies on an interstate basis. The competition that would result would dramatically cut the premiums that people and employers have to pay for their policies.

    2. Tort control. Reign in the outlandish settlements that ambulance-chasing lawyers sue for in suits against doctors. Texas limited the amounts awarded for “pain and suffering” to $250,000 and the number of malpractice suits dropped by HALF. And insurance premiums for hospitals and doctors also dropped by half. But then, those same lawyers OWN the Dimmocraps and you will NEVER see such a bill come from a Dimmocrap controlled Congress.

    3. If a government controlled public option is such a good thing for us, why aren’t our Congresscritters and Senators rushing to join the same plan? They have refused, ON RECORD, to submit themselves to the same program that they want to put us on.

  20. Granny Gruntz says:

I can’t find a doctor to accept my Medicare. I doubt that they would take Obama’s Po-Folk Care either.

  21. GOZ2FAST says:

Are you really so naive as to think that this bankrupted government who has messed up every program they have ever touched is going to give you good healthcare? Government should not be involved at all with healthcare…and outside of catastrophic care, INSURANCE shouldn’t be involved in routine care. People should be able to let the free market decide what an office visit between them and their doctor is worth and pay as they go and stop with all this insanity that insurance has to be involved in getting a prescription for a headache. It’s ridiculous that we have allowed MIDDLEMEN (insurance or government) to get in the way of affordable care. We should be allowed to negotiate directly with healthcare providers what we will and won’t pay for services… We could then have insurance for CATASTROPHIC care to cover major medical issues and that insurance should be allowed to compete in every state just like car insurance does so that you can buy what you can afford for you and your family.

GOVERNMENT IS ON THE ANSWER TO ANY PROBLEM, they are usually the cause of it and we need them out of our way so we can fix our own problems.

  22. Feeling Pasty says:

I want for everyone in the world to have good healthcare. I know that many people cannot afford it. There has to be an answer to this. I just don’t think that our leaders have found a good answer yet.

  23. Ben says:

Republicans don’t love insurance company’s unless they happen to own an insurance agency, or work for a large insurance company !

The problem is that Republicans, conservatives, independents, and even some democrats don’t trust the government to be telling the truth about the cost of national health care, nor do the trust the concept for a public option. To do so would put health care completely in the socialistic hands of government.

Already there is talk about additional stimulus for GM, another entity controlled by government, and one that would need to dig half way to China, to find a bottom line with black ink.

Business and health care need to be run on the basis of profit and loss, or there is no personal responsibility or fiscal yardstick to control their costs. Government doesn’t see it that way, to them, if it is losing money, just throw more tax payer dollars in to put out the fire !

  24. Dan says:

The insurance company excuse is just that, an excuse.

We don’t love insurance companies, we just don’t want government run health care and neither do you if you knew what it entails.
