Not when he is discharged he will not have any medical insurance from the military. He is not considered a Veteran as he hasn’t served. He will have to find it on his own. If he is allowed back in then he will be covered by the military insurance.
I’m afraid he isn’t eligible for any benefits at all. VA will only deal with veterans and your son’s discharge doesn’t qualify him as a veteran.
No. Sorry, but he needs to have completed basic to be qualified for VA medical assistance, the reason he is fainting, has to be related to the service, and even they can’t figure out what is his problem. Further, the 6 months thing is just a way to get you to go, I never saw it work, they never get back in.
Everyone is right. He doesn’t qualify for benefits, and if he has a medical condition that causes him to pass out his chances of re-enlisting is very slim.
The answer is NO…
It will be a “Existed Prior to Entry Into Service”
(EPES) Medical Problem Discharge…
Entry Level Discharges do not qualify for
VA Medical care…he hasn’t even made it
through “Boot Camp” yet…
